What’s the difference between a homeopathic doctor and a naturopathic doctor?”
Both can treat the same ailments. A naturopath may use a variety of different methods, each of which have been studied at a cursory level, including homeopathy, which comprises of approximately 300 hours over 4 years. You may come out of the naturopath’s office having had acupuncture, physical adjustment, or with supplements, chinese medicine, or homeopathic remedies.
A classical homeopath studies homeopathy for approximately 3000 hours over 3 years, in addition to nutrition, and a overview of other supporting sciences. You will leave the homeopath’s office with only one homeopathic remedy. That remedy will be given over a course of time.
The classical homeopathic principle of only one remedy, or one treatment, at a time, is to be able to know how the remedy is working, and to gage effectiveness. If you are taking more than one medicine at a time, or combining treatments, it is not possible to know which has an effect, and which does not. It may confuse the picture, and make treatment more complicated. One remedy at a time is the method that I follow and it works.
