Blood Analysis
How Does the Metabolic Balance® Blood Test Work?
Once you have signed up for the Metabolic Balance Program, your Metabolic Balance® Coach requisitions a blood test for you, which can be taken at your local lab. Your blood test results will be sent to the Metabolic Balance® Head Office in Germany for analysis.
The blood analysis looks at 36 blood values and parameters and provides precise information on your health, your metabolism, and any deficiencies in key elements associated with metabolic dysfunction. Your blood test results are then combined with your personal health data and your food list, which becomes the basis of your Metabolic Balance diet.
Why Does Metabolic Balance Look at Your Blood?
Blood supplies the body with oxygen and nutrients. Your blood replenishes organs and tissues throughout your body; it can also carry inflammatory markers and transmit signs of disease.
Based on your blood values, we analyze which nutrients are deficient and how this may impact your body system. Your blood also reveals how your organs are functioning and can point out areas of potential risk and disease.
Blood analysis has long been the most reliable and minimally invasive means to identify and treat obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and other diseases. The data gathered allows our team to tailor a nutrition plan custom-made for you based on the lab values, your health history, and your wellness goals. Should we note any medical risks, we will advise you to consult with your physician for additional follow-up.

My Story
Why I Became a Metabolic Balance Coach
While diet and nutrition has always been an integral part of my practice, my personal experience with Metabolic Balance is what tipped the scale for me.
Diet and Nutrition in My Practice
I have been practicing homeopathy for over 20 years and diet and nutrition have always been integral to my practice. I have long ascribed to the Ayurvedic proverb that “when the diet is wrong, medicine is of no use; when the diet is right, medicine is of no need.” In past practice, I often recommended food prescriptions (or restrictions) to my patients for a wide range of conditions when it became clear that the food they were eating was a contributing factor.
My Struggle With Weight Loss and Metabolic Syndrome
I have always been a conscious eater, and vegetables were the anchor of 2 meals a day. Despite my best efforts, I have had hypothyroidism for over 30 years and was also diagnosed with Metabolic Syndrome — a combination of high blood sugar, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, plus obesity. I tried intermittent fasting, vegetarian and vegan diets, and cutting out grains. For the life of me, I could not change the numbers on my blood results or move the needle on my scale. A few years later, I needed an angioplasty and had a stent put in. When talking about my struggles with a homeopathic colleague and friend, she mentioned that she was a Metabolic Coach and suggested I try the program.
